Since yesterday and now all today I've been in a good mood. On Saturday at Animarathon I got to DJ live for the second time, and although I had to play some ultra-lame synthy-techpop by request and there were only 10/700 people actually in the room, the feeling of blasting music over the room while people are party hard dance party really got me excited. Reuben and I talked about it afterwards and we decided that next year we'd have a better plan of action. All we had really was Steve's laptop with winamp and barely any playlist ready , but everything turned out good. He showed me a kick ass USB mixer called the Hercules DJ Console MKII



It's very much kick ass. I'm talking with What the Bleep right now about it. I'd need to get a laptop however, but I guess I'll just have to deal with it. :o

Once I get my computer back in working order I'll have to put in my new Sound card and continue my learning process for my MIDI controller:

Ever since I found out the software it came with was a POS Lite version, I pulled away from using it, then my computer pooped it's face out, so now I'm stuck till I fix whatever's wrong.
